Family

What do you say about your family?  Mine's a little nutty, a whole lot more loving.  I was born into my family, God gave them to me and them to me.  God gave me Trey and me to Trey.  And what comes with Trey...?  HIS family.  God gave them to me and me to them.  There is so much that I can say about each and every single person in MY family, good and bad.  But here's something I can say about them all, undeniably, I love them.  Your family, no matter who or what, are always there.  Physically, emotionally, sometimes financially.  There are members you don't like, and of course those who don't like you --- but guess what? They are still your family, whether you, or they, like it or not.  No one can exasperate you, hurt you, lift you, love you, like your family--- God's promise.  I am thankful for God's providence, in each and every person in my family.

Simon aka Silas

We have a new addition to our growing family:  a betta fish.  At first Jace named him Simon, but we have a friend named Silas, and thus Jace renamed the fish.  So, meet Silas...

This week...

Had Jace's friend birthday party tuesday.  The kids all really had fun and that was nice to see. Jace really had a great time with her friends, which I think is sweet.

Went to the doctor wednesday.  Baby Holmes 3 will make an appearance sometime around February 18, 2010.  I have a new appreciation for the ultrasound.  I LOVED seeing the baby's heartbeat on the screen and can not wait to hear it!!!

Jessica and kids are in town and she was kind enough to babysit the girls while I was at the doctor's office.  They miss her, especially Jace.  We've only see them a little bit but Jace really enjoyed it.  I didn't get to spend any time with her but that's life, life is busy these days.  Jace has done nothing but talk about Reagan for days on end.  It makes me sad to know how much she really does miss her little friend.

Last night Trey and I actually got to go to dinner---- ALONE :)  It was wonderful.  Today is only thursday but Trey is taking off tomorrow for the holiday and that will be exciting for the girls.
